This trip was organised by the 4×4 Adventurers 4×4 club. It was on some private property just south of Tailem Bend. This is around the third time I’ve been here. 

It gives lots and lots of chances to practice driving on sand.  Something that I needed in the Defender after being spoilt by an automatic transmission in my old Discovery.

This was a really good trip. The people in the 4×4 Adventurers are really friendly.  It also let me spend some time with my cousins again. The only bad thing about this trip was that I thought the serpentine belt was slipping on the Defender under engine load and was making a squealing noise. This turned out to be a leaking exhaust manifold
